That was the beginning of Notes from a Chameleon, and the first wobbly steps on a very long, sometimes painful, sometimes joyful and always surprising new life.

Now some 35 years later Ginnie’s novel has made it to Hollywood. In April of ‘09 a made-for-Hallmark TV movie based on Ida Mae Tutweiler and the Traveling Tea Party will air. And if that isn’t a miracle, we don’t know what is. The whole amazing adventure is on her blog www.ginniebivona.blogspot.com

After some years as a successful acquisitions editor for a regional; press, she is now president of Atriad Press, (www.atraidpress.com) specializing (after several years of "learning experiences") in Texas non-fiction. Recently her first and favorite work; Notes From a Chameleon, Sort of a Memoir, (which she also illustrated) has been awarded Finalist in a national book contest.

She is also the author of the hilarious cookbook The Seductive Chef, A Cookbook & More for Lovers. She claims to be "working'" on a new novel, titled Italian Music, and a non-fiction book titled Viva Terlingua, A Chili Cook Remembers the Early Years. Stay tuned on both of those.
